Semester Exam Project
1. I thought this project was a great way to review everything we have learned this semester. I enjoyed the amount of flexibility of creativity we had to create the problems, the amount of time we had to work on the project, and how it was a collaborative effort between all classes to create our final exam. I defiantly feel more confidant in the content that will be on the exam.
2. I am going to study for the exam with my tutor, using the review, re-reading my comp book, doing extra practice problems, and re-reading my homework and past tests. Its important that I take my time to ensure I know everything, and if I need help, that I ask for it. If needed, I will use online resources like Kahn Academy to prepare me more.
3. This semester of Algebra 2 has been the most challenging and difficult semester of math in my life. Despite the difficulty, I have learned a lot and exercised using advocacy, critical thinking, and perseverance. I really struggled with the instruction, pace, and content this semester. This caused me to be easily frustrated, confused, and felt very lost. Luckily, advocating to my advisor, Libby, and Effi, the second half of the semester was much more enjoyable. My weaknesses would include becoming easily frustrated and not asking for help in the first half. I am really glad I got a tutor because she eases my concerns and provides a lot of help. My only regret is not getting a tutor sooner because that would have saved me a lot of stress and helped me be more prepared for the final exam. I am looking forward to a new semester with a fresh start.
